Where There's a Will...

Wednesday, January 14, 2004:

President Bush, near the end of his speech on space policy today, said that we have lost 23 astronauts. I count 17: 3 aboard Apollo 1, 7 each on shuttles Challenger and Columbia. 17! He said 23! Who are these additional 6? He also mentioned Ilan Ramon. So actually, we as a nation have lost 16 citizens, since Ilan was not. That makes 7 additional lost lives in our president's number. Who are the missing 7?
