Hunt Grows In Yemen for Al Qaeda (washingtonpost.com) - Al Qaeda terrorists obviously live amongst the general population. They look like you and me, the average Joe or Jane. We must remain vigilant, yet not over paranoid over who is right next door.

The term, "suspicious activities," is very subjective. What I consider "suspicious," you may consider harmless, and vice-versa. I don't trust the government to have the best of our intentions in mind.

Another thought: why is the attorney general of the US, John Ashcroft, always out front on this war on terrorism? He is a liar, er, lawyer, not a military commander. Donald Rumsfeld, Secretary of Defense, should be the point man, shouldn't he? Think about it...
