Where There's a Will...

No surprise here: Amtrak stays alive. Bush just continues to spend money he is not authorized to spend. The money doesn't exist! I love trains and have ridden on Amtrak on several occassions, but I know this country does not need a national railway. Let Amtrak be broken up and each state decide if the need is there for a state-wide passenger railroad. Privatization is the way to go.
